Meet the Architects

  • Tim Greer

    FOUNDING DIRECTOR

    Dr. Tim Greer is a founding Director of TZG. His work spans Architecture, Interior Design, Master Planning, Urban Design, Design Management, Research and Advocacy, and he treats each project as an opportunity to create fresh contemporary forms, using current construction techniques.

    Multi-award winning projects under Tim’s directorship combine urban renewal with new cultural uses, including Carriageworks Contemporary Arts Centre, Scots Church Apartment Redevelopment, Paddington Reservoir Gardens, The Glasshouse: Arts Conference and Entertainment Centre, Bennelong Restaurant, and the Kensington St Precinct including The Old Clare Hotel.

    More recently, Tim’s experience has earned him commissions to design the Central Station Renewal Precinct Masterplan and The Vision and Future Framework for the Darlinghurst Gaol. Tim is currently an Adjunct Professor of Architecture at Sydney University and holds a Doctorate in Architecture and Design from RMIT in Melbourne.

  • Camilla Van den Berg

    ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

    After completing her Masters of Architecture, Camilla joined TZG in 2012. She has a keen interest in complex, bespoke projects. Camilla has experience leading projects from concept design, through to documentation and construction stages. She was one of the Project Architects for the Front of House Upgrades to the Sydney Opera House.

    Prior to this she worked extensively on the design and execution of the Virgin Australia domestic airport lounges across the country.

    Most recently, she was the site Architect for Campbell House, which won the the David Oppenheim Award for Sustainable Architecture at the AIA National Awards 2024, a Commendation for Commercial Architecture AIA National Awards, the Sir G Stephenson Award for Commercial Architecture at the AIA NSW Awards and the Premier Award for Australian Interior Design 2023. Camilla was also instrumental in TZG projects including Railway Square Masterplan for the City of Sydney, the University of Newcastle University Club Feasibility Study, as well as several residences for private clients.
